23 Nigerian graduates have been selected across the six geo-political zones in Nigeria as beneficiaries of the (ARMTI) training on agribusiness development to empower them as employers of labour and drive youth self-sufficiency. The training which is aimed at providing participants with practical exposure to the agribusiness industry, will also equip them with proposal writing mechanism that would assist them in the accessing of loans from the relevant banks.
Addressing the audience at the opening ceremony in Ilorin, the Ag. Executive Director of the ARMTI Dr. (Mrs) Comfort Jolayemi stated that while ARMTI is providing the participants with free accommodation, feeding and allowance, the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) is expected to provide them with loans for agribusiness ventures at the end of the programme.
