ONE for Africa

As should be obvious from our African Perspectives facebook page by now, we aim at bringing Africa together as ONE continent, plus we’re putting the spotlight on Africa’s and the Africans’ latest music, arts, cultures, politics, tourism offers, literature and what not…

Some of you might also already have heard about the grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization ONE.org:

 

ONE is physically represented with offices in the UK (London), the US (Washington), Germany (Berlin), France (Paris), Belgium (Brussels), South Africa (Johannesburg) and Nigeria (Abuja), with more to come.

ONE’s mission is to fight extreme poverty and preventable disease in the poorest places on the planet, particularly in Africa. We hold world leaders to account for the commitments they’ve made to fight extreme poverty, and we campaign for better policies, increased and more effective aid, and trade reform. We also work closely with leaders in Africa to support greater democracy, accountability and transparency in how these resources are deployed.

This is a movement critical for our all’s well-being, so every-ONE is encouraged to add his or her voice to the movement. Sign up here to be a ONE member. It’s not about donations, it’s about your voice for justice.
